Baz luhrmann gay
Stars You Were Surprised to Learn We're *Not* Gay?
In the 80's I was convinced Ray Parker, Jr. was gay.
He gave an interview where he was talking about all the groupies that were constantly throwing themselves at him, and that he didn't ever fuck any of them. He said something to the outcome of "so, I am always labeled as 'gay' because I'm not out there having all this sex with all these women. That's okay, I don't mind it if that's what they think." I was like, "aha! No straight guy would ever utter that!"
A little later, he came out with that lyric "Girls Are More Fun", and I thought "Hmmm. He's just trying to deflect all the rumors about him." After that, he faded from the music scene, and I just assumed he settled in to happy same-sex attracted domesticity. Decades later, I see some interview with him in a magazine, and he's married to a lady and has all these kids.
He's probably wishing he fucked a few of those groupies way back in the day, though.

Acclaimed Australian filmmaker Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin’s daughter, Lilly, recently opened up about her father’s gay rumors, and how it has been like dealing with them.
During an appearance on Phoebe Burgess’ Under The Gloss podcast, the 19-year-old revealed:
“I did get followed to school, by a truck that was paparazzi … They were bullying my dad there for a little bit there.”
“I specifically remember I was driving in the car, on the radio, this guy was enjoy, ‘Today we’re going to be discussing, is Baz Luhrmann gay? Breaking news, they sleep in two different bedrooms,'” she added.
Lilly continued by sharing that she had to deal with the rumors even at school, recalling:
“And I went to school and the kids were like, ‘Is your dad gay?'”
“That was the first time I felt embarrassed … Not embarrassed, but more like, ‘Why are these people talking about my dad?’ ‘Why are they making fun?’ I’m like, ‘They just have alternative sleeping schedules,'” she expressed.
Moreover, Lilly explained how those rumors brought her to a realization that her
Due to recent circumstances I’m sure you’re all overly alert of by this point, every male, woman, and female homosexual in America has ended up with an abundance of time on her hands, myself included. When not spending my time staring into the Zoom abyss as my professor attempts to wrangle participation from thirty-five dejected communications majors, I hold been undertaking a noble cause for the betterment of all. I include been doing a deep dive into director Baz Luhrmann’s filmography to settle, once and for all, the lesbianness of his vertical male leads.
You view, sometimes, straight men can be lesbians. I propose to you: butch homosexual woman Young Leonardo Dicaprio, baby face Ewan McGregor, and the single-minded pining Ezekiel Figuero. These images are such that I can only look at them and say softly to my pc screen, “She.”
But does trolling Google Images and yelling “GENDER!” at my screen every time a picture of Adolescent Leo in loose-fitting clothing pops up pass the days? Sadly, it does not. The hours grew long, and I grew ravenous for more of Baz’s particular mark of lesbianism. So I watched Baz Luhrmann’s catalog of five movies and one TV display to determine, once and for a
This weekend brings the annual Gay Pride festivities to West Hollywood, which is arguably the gayest metropolis in the country if not the world. As one of relatively rare straight men in WeHo, my preference for women may not be evident as I walk through "Boys Town" on my way to the widespread pool. Thus I come across myself identifying with Dana Carvey's old SNL ethics Lyle the Effeminate Heterosexual. And so might these nine notable men.
- Baz Luhrmann. First, a disclaimer: who knows what any of these guys got up to in their private lives? Certainly, many gay celebrities of the past got married and had children while keeping their same-sex lovers a secret. Anyway, you might assume that only a homosexual could make lavish, over-the-top films like Moulin Rouge! and Strictly Ballroom, yet the dapper Australian director has been married to his costume/production designer Catherine Martin since 1997. They own two kids.
- LeVar Burton. Considering his soft-spoken personality, his drama geek background, his childhood desire to become a priest, and his involvement in AIDS and gay rights causes, you might be forgiven for thinking the Roots/Star Trek/Reading Rainbow star was gay. But Bu
