The energy is building for Dallas Lgbtq+ fest 2025, and we are thrilled to announce this year's powerful theme: "Pride is My Right." In a time where Gay rights are increasingly being challenged and infringed upon across the nation and even within our own communities, this theme serves as a resounding assertion. We cannot be complacent as fundamental freedoms are questioned and marginalized. Dallas Pride 2025 is a call to action, an firm affirmation that Celebration is not a privilege, but an inherent right belonging to every individual. The Dallas LGBTQ+ community thrives as one of the largest in the nation. The greater Dallas metro area has the largest number of LGBTQ+ people in Texas (211,000) and the sixth-largest in the United States.
Though lgbtq+ people have settled all across the North Texas region, the Oak Lawn/Cedar Springs neighborhood continues to be the entertainment, business, and residential epicenter for LGBTQ+ locals and a top visitor attraction. It’s the home to multiple bars, clubs, retailers, restaurants, and other gathering places, includingThe Round-Up Saloon (one of the top Homosexual country-western bars in the world) and Sue Ellen’s (Texas’ oldest lesbian exclude and one of the few remaining in the nation). Named the “Best Gayborhood” by OUT Magazine in 2014, the district also boasts the headquarters of the North Texas LGBT Chamber of Commerce, an organization whose mission is to foster an inclusive business community.

Dallas has the 6th largest LGBTQ+ population in the US, and we want to celebrate them! We’ve rounded up over 15 colorful Pride celebrations in Dallas for you to live proudly, wave your celebration flag in support, and empower the community!

Dallas Identity Music Festival
Dallas' official Pride Month celebration starts with an all-day music festival, with fun for all ages! This year's festival will feature dozens of musical performances on a main outdoor stage and a smaller indoor one. Plus, explore more activities enjoy over 200 vendors to shop, a Family Zone with bounce houses and face painting, a Teen Pride area, train rides, animal adoptions, and more.
