Young Thug Says He’s Not Gay: “I’m the Straightest Gentleman in the World”
Throughout his career, people have speculated that Young Thug is a gay guy. In a unused interview, Thugger emphatically dismisses that claim.
Speaking with Big Young man on Big Boy's Neighborhood on Wednesday (Aug. 21), Thugger explains his sexuality.
"People say, 'gay,' but nigga..." Thugger says before a dramatic pause where he implies that he's been with a lot of women. "So it's fond of if people believe that I'm homosexual, they already misjudged. I'm the straightest man in the world. I abhor guys. Fuck are you talking about? I'm not even having a threesome with no nigga."
Thugger, who is arrange to tour with Machine Gun Kelly and more next month, is speaking on claims people have made for years. That speculation increased when he rocked a dress on the cover of his Jefferyproject three years ago. He has been romantically involved with Jerrika Karlae for years now.

Late in the afternoon on August 26, Young Thug started trending. This shouldn’t be a surprise considering Thug’s ascension from hometown hero to hip-hop hitmaker within the last two years. From features with rap elder statesmen fond of T.I. and Juicy J (“About the Money,” “Low”), magazine covers (Complex, Fader), and co-signs from hip-hop luminaries (Kanye, Drake, Wayne), the day of the Thug is upon us. Thug captioned the seemingly innocuous picture with the statement “Me and my hubbie!!! @richhomiequan 4life udigg!!!!!” While at first glance this easily can be deemed news that isn’t deserving of entity called news, it brought a big problem to the forefront. Young Thug has expressed his concern about the decision of his fellow rapper Lil Nas X to come out as gay. Young Thug was at pains to produce it clear that he has nothing against the LGBTQ+ community. Rather, Thugger appears to be worried about the impact it might have on his new friend – and on his career.
