R&B star Tank says giving another male oral sex ‘doesn’t make you gay’
R&B singer, songwriter, log producer and thespian Tank has argued that sucking dick doesn’t, in truth, make a guy gay.
The R&B crooner recently appeared on Angela Yee’s podcast Lip Service to promote his novel album Elevation, and during a discussion about sex, Tank said that a man sexually experimenting with men isn’t necessarily gay.
Yee, who was disputing the idea that just because a guy has lied once before, it doesn’t make him a liar forever, used oral sex as an example for her argument.
“Let’s speak he sucked a dick one second … say twice … does that make him gay?” Yee asked rhetorically.
The 43-year-old musician, who momentarily choked on his drink, felt very differently about fellatio.
“No, here’s the thing,” Tank began. “He sucked a dick once and then he’s like, ‘I’m not sure if I liked it or not. Enable me try again.’ And then he says, ‘You grasp what, it’s not for me … ‘

You see it everywhere; there’s an attack on tough Black men. It all started on Lip Service, an interview show run by New York radio luminary Angela Yee that features hour-long conversations with singers and rappers about their sex lives. Tank released a new album on Friday, titled Elevation. He’s a practiced interviewee, with a sonorous voice and plenty of self-deprecating quips, so he visited Lip Service as part of his promotional run. Twice is excessive, but let’s dig into it.” Then, sending Twitter into a frenzy, he continued, “So ok, he sucked a dick once, right? And then he’s like, ‘I’m not sure if I liked it or not.
